Tuesday’s C2D2 webinar on the current trajectory of citizen engagement

The Canadian Community for Dialogue and Deliberation, NCDD’s sister organization in Canada, invites the NCDD community to join them for the next installment in their Big Questions webinar series on THIS TUESDAY, February 12th, from 11:30am to 12:30pm Eastern.

C2D2-logoAt their October 2012 face-to-face meeting, C2D2 Board members discussed some big questions about this field of work, and this year, they are looking look forward to discussing how these questions shape citizen engagement with a series of webinars designed to increase the collective knowledge and experience in dialogue, deliberation, and engagement.

The big question for this month’s webinar is “What is the current trajectory of citizen engagement?”  Participants will consider further questions around the Big Question, including…

  • What is the state and future of citizen engagement in Canada?
  • What kinds of changes are we seeing in the spaces, places, and opportunities for citizen engagement?
  • Where is the space shrinking or expanding?
  • How are things like reality TV and viral memes affecting citizen engagement?

Please plan on joining our friends at C2D2 for this important discussion! Check C2D2’s website for more information on the Big Questions webinar series, and register for the February 12th webinar here:
