C2D2 News – Online Survey & 2007 Conference

Our friends at C2D2 (the NCDD-inspired Canadian Community for Dialogue & Deliberation) are planning their second national conference and looking to increase their web-based and other offerings. They ask that those who attended the first Canadian Conference on Dialogue & Deliberation, and those of you who are in Canada or are likely to attend the next C2D2 conference, take a few minutes to complete their online needs assessment or workbook at http://c2d2.dialoguecircles.com/default.aspx?l=English&DN=654,32,Documents.

C2D2 logoThe survey will be online throughout January, and they’d love your input. The survey covers conference theme, content and structure; how to connect the Canadian D&D community between conferences, and the types of services and tools they should include on their website (www.c2d2.ca).

Also – be sure to add this to your calendars…. The 2007 Canadian Conference on Dialogue & Deliberation will take place November 12-14 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The final details on the location still need to be finalized, but a part of the conference will be held at the gorgeous Wosk Centre for Dialogue. This innovative centre that is part of Simon Fraser University was designed/architected “to foster understanding.” The goal of the conference is to build on the success and momentum that came out of the first C2D2 conference held in 2005.
