About Me
Pam Korza is co-director of Animating Democracy, a program of Americans for the Arts, that fosters arts and humanities activity that encourages civic dialogue/engagement on contemporary issues. Supported in its first phase by the Ford Foundation, Animating Democracy supported 35 arts and humanities-based civic dialogue projects around the country. She is co-author of Civic Dialogue, Arts & Culture: Findings from Animating Democracy, and co-edited six other recent Animating Democracy publications. Animating Democracy continues to advance arts- and humanities-based civic engagement through convenings, case studies, publications, a web site, and technical assistance services and programs.
