University of Baltimore – Center for Negotiations and Conflict Management

The center provides education, training and services in the broad field of negotiations and conflict prevention, management and resolution. The center emphasizes efforts to disseminate and apply conflict management skills to nourish relationships with the community that will sustain and improve social harmony and increase economic productivity. The center runs a 42-credit Master's program in Negotiations and Conflict Management.

About the Center's Director

Donald Mulcahey, director of the Center for Negotiations and Conflict Management, earned his doctorate from the Catholic University of America and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore chool of Law. He is a member of the Maryland Bar and the Baltimore County Bar Association and is a court-appointed mediator for the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.

About the M.S. in Negotiations and Conflict Management

Our 42-credit master's program can help you develop such valuable skills as problem solving and dispute resolution and teach you how to apply them to a variety of settings. The program's interdisciplinary curriculum draws on the expertise of three UB schools-the Yale Gordon College of Liberal Arts, the Robert G. Merrick School of Business and the School of Law. From this rich mix of legal, business, social science and humanities perspectives, you'll gain a broad understanding of conflict and how to manage it.
