Invitation to join planning call for “TV Entertainment” Catalyst Awards proposal

Tim Bonnemann is working on finding a good time for a call for those interested in his “TV Entertainment” idea for the NCDD Catalyst Awards. Tim is a long-time NCDD member and Founder and CEO of Intellitics, Inc.

As you know, the entire NCDD community is now invited to collaborate on the 23 proposals that have been submitted. Teams have until January 13, 2013 to get things into shape. Tim’s planning call is an opportunity to determine next steps, so please indicate your availability on the Doodle poll at http://doodle.com/e6kn6qy4hu7cuv7s if you’re interested in getting involved in the project.

In the meantime, feel free to add to the CivicEvolution page on Tim’s idea here: http://ncdd.civicevolution.org/proposal/10101

Tim indicated in an email to me that a lot will depend on who shows up on the call and where people’s energy is.  He mentioned that the following need to be discussed in order to define the scope of the project:

  • Purpose/goals
  • Potential partnering organizations (media, foundations, higher education etc.)
  • Format (talk/game/reality show?)
  • Delivery (web only or more?)
  • Opportunities for audience participation (sync/async, web/mobile, individual/group)

You can also email Tim directly if you have questions about his proposal or want to participate in the first call but miss the Doodle poll, at tim@intellitics.com.
