Thank you for voting for the Catalyst Awards winners!
Voting will be open through February 6th, so look for blog posts, emails and other media on the 7th to announcing which two projects will receive the Catalyst Awards.
The Catalyst Awards were an experiment to to encourage innovation and collaboration among NCDD members. This was new ground for NCDD, and we would like to know what you thought of the process.
Should we do this again? And if so, what should be done differently? What would have gotten you more involved in the process? Post a comment and let us know!
still looking for a way to help/participate. (since 2009)
Are you looking for a way to help/participate in NCDD generally, Jerry? Or in the Catalyst Awards in particular? The Catalyst Awards were designed to encourage NCDD members to work together to develop new projects that move our field forward, and there will be opportunities to get involved in the winning projects that move forward.
If you’re looking for ways to get involved in NCDD, just keep watching the blog or the listserv messages. We’ve got conference calls, collaborative conference planning, web spaces devoted to exploring how we might respond to national crises together, opportunities to post resources and share the work you’re doing on the NCDD website, and lots more. Let me know what you’re looking to do in particular, and I’ll try to help.
I have been scanning the progress of the process Sandy and not been as conscientious a reader as usual. It has been holiday/vacation time here in Australia, so for me the time was a bit of an issue. A big thank you from me for breaking new ground and as I have said to you before, I don’t know how you find all the time to do all you do, so thanks for doing it. I look forward to reading the results.
Cheers
Barbara
