SFU Centre for Dialogue Wins Award

Congratulations are in order: Simon Fraser University’s Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue (in Vancouver, BC) was honoured with the Innovation award and the Corporate Sponsor of the Year award at the 2006 Meeting Professionals International (MPI-BC Chapter) awards dinner. Among its many good works, the Wosk Centre hosted the pioneering British Columbia Citizens’ Assembly on Electoral Reform in 2004. For information about available services at SFU’s Morris J. Amy Lang
Amy Lang is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions at the University of British Columbia. She wrote her dissertation on British Columbia’s groundbreaking Citizens’ Assembly process, and is currently doing follow-up research on the Ontario Citizens’ Assembly.
