Demo of PMLINK 360 available for NCDDers

I wanted to encourage NCDDers to familiarize yourselves with PMLINK 360’s software, EngagEnterprise — a simple and affordable web-based stakeholder management tool.  PMLINK 360 was one of our All-Star Sponsors for the 2010 NCDD regional events.  We are so grateful to PMLINK 360 for their support, and I think their software would be a wonderful tool for some of you.

PMLINK 360 logoSteve Artis at PMLINK 360 has created a free account for NCDDers so you can try out an online demo of their software. Learn more at www.pmlink360.com/ncdd/ or go directly to http://demo.pmlink360.com (get in using the username “ncdd” and the password “connectnow”).  Steve would love for you to consider using EngagEnterprise for your projects when you need to manage stakeholder information.

Once you’re logged into the demo, think about how software like this could enhance your public engagement and stakeholder engagement projects. Explore the Stakeholder Management screens (under the Stakeholder Management navigation drop-down), and keep in mind that the site is fully customizable.

I asked Steve what he thinks NCDD members should know about EngagEnterprise software.  First and foremost, PMLINK 360 feels that effective stakeholder management is critical to the success of any engagement project. When you combine EngagExternal (a public information website) and EngagEnterprise (a complete stakeholder management system), you create a complete online communication system for your projects.

Members of project teams often find themselves playing catch-up when it comes to stakeholder management, trying in vain to keep track of who called and when, what they called about, how we responded, and so on. Keeping team members on the same page with meetings, conference calls and project news is also time consuming.

EngagEnterprise is a complete stakeholder management system. Simple web-based software that helps manage the relationship between your project and its many stakeholders. It’s your 24/7 conference room, plugged in and ready for you to access timely project data, stakeholder contacts, permits and schedules, and more.

EngagExternal helps you keep the public (an important stakeholder) informed, involved and confident in your program.  Completely separate from your project management site, your customized public information site is like having your own 24/7 public information officer. You control the content and the public gets the information they need regarding your project. It’s a self-serve information dispensary and an online bulletin board that saves you time and money.

If you’d like a guided tour, I encourage you to sign up for a webinar after you spend a little time experimenting in the demo.
