Brooklyn NVC Workshops Coming Up in November

Brooklyn Non-Violent Communication is hosting two special workshops in November with Kanya Likanasudh, a trainer from Boulder, Colorado with a Masters of Divinity degree in Buddhist Philosophy and Hakomi training (body- centered psychotherapy). The first workshop is titled Embracing the Body: A Kinesthetic Approach to NVC Practice on Saturday, November 18th, 10:30-6pm, Hope Martin Studio, 39 West 14th St., at 5th Ave., Rm 508, Manhattan. This workshop includes body-based and somatic games and interactive exercises to support the learning & integration of NVC everyday. A second workshop, Living Compassion: NVC as an Every Day Spiritual Practice will be held November 19th, 2-6pm Brooklyn Nonviolent Communication, 421 Fifth Ave, at 8th St., 2nd Floor, Park Slope Brooklyn (From Manhattan: D express train to Pacific; cross platform to R or M; two stops to 9th St). Sandy Heierbacher co-founded the National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation (NCDD) with Andy Fluke in 2002, with the 60 volunteers and 50 organizations who worked together to plan NCDD’s first national conference.
