New Documentary from the 2010 Dialogue In Nigeria
Len & Libby Traubman contacted us over the holidays with news of their latest film documenting the 2010 International Conference on Youth and Interfaith Communication in Jos, Nigeria where they played a major role as co-facilators in cooperation with the New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation in Jos.
From their website: Two hundred courageous Christian and Muslim young adults met in face-to-face Dialogue, listening to learn and discovering their equal humanity, new communication skills, and that “an enemy is one whose story we have not heard.” [photo source]
Entitled DIALOGUE IN NIGERIA: Muslims & Christians Creating Their Future, this “hopeful,” hour long documentary features participants “…face to face and in small circles, [starting with] ice-breakers and continuing in depth to discover one another’s equal humanity – fear, grief, needs, hopes, and concrete plans for a shared future…” and is available on DVD through the Traubman’s website. It’s also available for viewing online at the Internet Archive.
Len & Libby have several other films worth checking out on their website.
