Discounts for NCDD Members on Some Great Trainings!

As you may know, NCDD is switching from a totally free membership to a paid membership (with a pay-what-you-can/free option). One of the ways we’re trying to ease this tricky transition is by providing some great benefits for fully paid NCDD members – including discounts for a whole bunch of great trainings and courses. NCDD members who pay the full membership fee can take advantage of discounted rates (mostly 20%) for the following upcoming trainings:

  • The Center for Strategic Facilitation’s Group Facilitation Methods Course – April 12-13 in Oakland, CA; June 5-6, 2007 in South Bay, CA; etc.
  • Community Weaving Certification Training – April 13-14 in Seattle or April 20-21 in Tacoma, WA
  • Open Space Technology Learning Workshop – April 24-26 in British Columbia
  • Full Circle’s Workshop on Facilitating Online Interaction – May 7 – July 6

Other groups have expressed interest in providing our members with discounted registration fees, including several NIF Public Policy Institutes, the Center for Wise Democracy, Cognexus Institute, the Global Facilitator Service Corps, the Harwood Institute, the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation, and Leadership Strategies. We’re still working on the details with these groups, so you may want to bookmark the Discounted Trainings for NCDD Members page to stay up on these opportunities – and to learn much more about the ones above.
