Susan Partnow, co-founder of Conversation Cafes, and Andrea Cohen, a certified Compassionate Listening facilitator, will be offering multiple two-day trainings in Compassionate Listening this year in Seattle, WA, the first on June 2 & 3 from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm at the 2100 Building (near where MLK/Rainier intersect).  Other trainings will be held on September 8 & 9 and December 1 & 2.  Particpants are encouraged to take both days – but it is possible to take the first day only and pick up the second day at a later time.  Scholarships and group rates are available.

Become a Compassionate Listener, helping to bring peace and healing to your life and our world. Many professionals, teachers, parents, counselors, coaches, mediators, etc. have found their work greatly supported through integrating the practices of Compassionate Listening.  Dialogue and Deliberation all depend on listening: come learn this powerful and deep practices.  Your personal life will also be enhanced, with improved relationships with family, friends and co-workers, helping to bring positive transformation to our world – and bring compassionate nurturing to yourself.  You will develop skills in our five core practices:  cultivate compassion; develop the fair witness; respect self and others; listen with the heart; and speak from the heart.

Cost is $175 – $350 ($90 – 175 for one day). You will make the choice about what you pay at the end of the workshops.  You can learn more or sign up for the June workshop here: www.june2012intensive.eventbrite.com.
