NAHRW Journal of Intergroup Relations – Call for Papers
Papers Sought for Special Issue on Contemporary Activism
Published by the National Association of Human Rights Workers (NAHRW), The Journal of Intergroup Relations is a twice-yearly publication that features information and research of interest to scholars and practitioners in the human rights cause worldwide and is especially interested in manuscripts that address intergroup relations and/or human rights issues. Their next, special issue welcomes manuscripts that position Contemporary Activism in any context and from any perspective, and they have a list of suggested themes on their website to help guide your submission.
This specific call is for papers in the range of 15-20 double-spaced pages that can fit these themes. However, they will consider any interesting paper that breaks new ground and/or provides food for thought or new ways of thinking about activism within contemporary society. Manuscripts should be submitted by Wednesday, August 1st, 2012. If a manuscript is accepted you will be notified by Wednesday, August 22th, 2012. Once published, authors receive five complimentary copies of the issue of The Journal in which their articles appear.
Article submissions for this issue will only be accepted through email and need to be sent to jmorrison12@gsu.edu. Inquiries about possible submissions are encouraged and should be directed to the editor at (678) 637-6921.
