Heartland VisionHolder Call with NCDD's Director

The Heartland Institute is giving me the honor of serving as a “Heartland VisionHolder.” My VisionHolder call is scheduled for this Tuesday, June 12th from 8 pm to 9 pm Eastern time (7 pm Central, 5 pm Pacific), followed by an optional 30-minute community conversation. If you are newer to dialogue and deliberation or new to the NCDD community, you might want to participate in the call.

The subject of the June 12th VisionHolder call is Dialogue and Deliberation: Fostering a World of Conversation, Participation and Action. I plan to talk about NCDD (how we got it started, who’s involved, why it’s important, what we hope to accomplish), and about the spectrum of dialogic and deliberative practice – including how people who are newer to this work can make informed decisions about which D&D methods to use. I’ll also share my personal story about how I got started in this work.

You can learn more and register for the call at www.heartlandcircle.com/index.cfm?PAGE_ID=668.
