Conference on Cultural Identity this September in PA
I picked up a flyer at the Network for Peace through Dialogue’s Why Dialogue? conference in New York City a couple of weeks ago. The flyer advertises a conference called “Cultural Identity in a Mass Culture World” that is hosted by Elizabethtown College, BCA (Brethren Colleges Abroad), a study abroad program focused on issues of peace, justice, and intercultural understanding and the Baker Institute of Juniata College.
The conference will take place September 27-30, 2007 at E-town College (that’s what we call Elizabethtown here in Pennsylvania), in Lancaster County, PA. This is the Peace and Justice Studies Association’s 2007 conference, and you can learn more at www.peacejusticestudies.org. Registration is only $170 for non-members of PJSA.
