Joycelyn Landrum-Brown received her Ph.D. in Clinical/Community Psychology from Michigan State University in 1984. She currently oversees the Intergroup Dialogue Courses offered through Educational Psychology and the Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Relations at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. In addition, she has been teaching a General Education course titled Exploring Cultural Diversity since fall 2000 in Educational Psychology. She has been working in the areas of diversity & and social justice education and facilitation training for the last 34 years, including facilitating numerous workshops on a variety of Social Justice Education topics at the universities where she worked prior to coming to University of Illinois in 1998. She has also worked in this capacity through her private consulting firm - Landrum-Brown & Associates.
